It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerald Ralph Leatherman of Newton, North Carolina, who passed away on March 15, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Ralph Leatherman and Edith Propst Leatherman; and his brother Kermit Leatherman. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Isenhour Leatherman; his son Ross Leatherman of Newton; his grandson Reed Leatherman of Newton; and his siblings, Shirley Havnaer of Hickory, Bobbie Robinson of Lincolnton, Brenda Hess of Ocean Isle and Michael Leatherman of Newton Several. He is also survived by Several nieces and nephews.
