It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Schneirla Drum of Newton, North Carolina, who passed away on February 11, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, T. C. Schneirla and Leone Schneirla; and her husband Reverend Harold Drum. She is survived by: her daughters, Adrienne Drum of Carrboro, NC and Margaret Lumsdaine of Port Hadlock, WA.; her grandchildren, Sophia and Brendan; and her son-in-law Peter Lumsdaine.
