He is survived by: his wife Peggy Rankin Templeton; his daughters, Sherry T. Miller (Doug) of Elon and Donna T. Sharman (Pete) of Conover; and his grandsons, Christopher Sharman (Cait), Charles Miller (Lana) and Philip Miller.
