With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Johnson (Newton, North Carolina), who passed away on June 11, 2024 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy James leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though James may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Susan; his parents, Henry Johnson and Polly Clark; and his uncle Buddy. He was also cherished by 3 sons, 8 grandchildren, 2 bonus grandsons, and 4 great grandchildren.

A memorial service was held on Monday, June 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Jenkins Funeral Home (4081 Startown Rd, Newton, NC 28658).

In lieu of flowers, please spay and neuter your pets, adopt don't shop, take a child fishing and when you put on your socks and underwear, remember he probably made it.
