He is survived by: his wife Sandra Christopher Setzer; his sons, Brian Setzer of Morganton, Joseph Kaylor of Newton, William Kaylor of Newton and Clifford Kaylor of Claremont; his stepchildren, Randy Herman of Hickory, Bobby Herman of Morganton and Annette Readling of Calabash; his nephews, Danny Setzer of Morganton and David Setzer of West Virginia; and his grandchildren, Howard "Hawk" Setzer, Christopher Setzer, Crystal Reese, Heather Alexander, Alyssa Barker and Rose Bud.
