It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Homer Edgar Fry (Newton, North Carolina), born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on October 28, 2018, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent George Franklin Fry, Sr.; and his siblings, Linda Hilton, Laura Jones, George Fry, Jr., Glenn Frye, Paul Fry and Allen Fry.
He is survived by: his parent Mattie Anna Fry (Miller); his wife Alice Eldora Fry (Barnhardt); his children, Trudy Reese of Morganton, Frank Fry (Sherry) of Hickory and Nelson Fry (Teresa) of Hickory; his grandchildren, Ashley Byrd (Matt), Tyler Fry (Kelsey) of Wake Forest, Trevor Fry of Hickory, Hailey Fry of Hickory, Lacey Callahan of Hickory, Taylor Cansler (Dillon) of Conover and Ana-Len Csobady of Hickory; his great grandchildren, Avery Byrd, Finley Byrd, Riley Fry, River Fry and Caroline Cansler; and his siblings, Earl Fry of Redondo Beach, CA and Ruth Jenkins of Hallsville, MO..
