He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Herbert Travis Sr. and Evangeline Marie Peoples of Ohio; his brother Dale Vickers of Ohio; his pet Lucky; his wife Elizabeth Travis (Libby); his children, Sonya Elliott (Jeremy), April Pilkenton (Jon) of Hickory, Herbert Stewart, Matthew Travis of Ohio and Shaun Travis of Pennsylvania; his siblings, Keith Vickers (Ann), David Vickers (Mary Lou), Jeff (Rose) of Ohio and Cheryl Skeens (Steve) of Ohio; his parents-in-law, Ralph and Brenda Cazire of Conover; his siblings-in-law, Chris Cazire (Jackie) of Conover and Theresa Vickers of Ohio; and his grandchildren, Logan Baldwin, Alyssa McCrary, Seth Elliott, Alexis McCrary, Ella Pilkenton, Trey McCrary, Grayson Weaver, Layni Elliott, Summer Travis, Haley and Elizabeth. He was also cherished by his wife, children and grandchildren.
