He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyden Baxter Huffman and Ossie Ethel Dellinger Huffman; and his siblings, Garland Leroy Huffman, Kathryn Huffman Dellinger, Helen Pauline Huffman, Alberta Huffman Sigmon and Annie Huffman Lowrance.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Jaqulyn "Jackie" Hollar Huffman; his brother-in-law James "Jim" Sigmon; his nieces and nephews, Kevin Black (Lisa), Jody Sigmon (Catherine), Eric Misenheimer, Tony Hoyle, Doug Hoyle, Albert Dellinger, James Dellinger, Fred Larry Dellinger, Allen Lowrance, Karen Moss (Patrick), Jennifer Spleet (Ryan), Kaitlyn Moss (David), Pat Poovey, Glenda Black and Vickie Barrineau; and his caregiver Maria Duffy.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bennett Funeral Service (7878 NC-16, Newton, NC 28658). A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Beth Eden Lutheran Church (400 N Main Ave, Newton, NC 28658). A graveside service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Catawba Memorial Park (3060 US Hwy 70 SE, Hickory, NC 28602).
