It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold Donald Mullis Jr. of Newton, North Carolina, who passed away on February 20, 2023, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harold Donald Mullis Sr. and Willie Brasington Mullis; his wife Doris Deese Mullis; his children, Kurt Mullis (Lauren) of Chapel Hill and Kimberly Mullis (Jake Canady); his siblings, David Mullis (Cindi) of Franklin, Joy Duckworth (Butch) of Hildebran and Cynthia Echols (Charles III) of Chapel Hill; and his grandchildren, Draco, Ada, Odin, Daisy, Lyra, Loxley and Ryker.
