With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Glenna Drum Sherrill of Newton, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on August 9, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivey Bowman Drum and Ada Lee Drum; her husband Mal Adrian Sherrill; her son Cory Sherrill; her grandson Jeremy Lee Cashion; her great grandchildren, Marin Steelmon and Hardin Steelmon; and her siblings, Hayes Drum, Ezra "Stump" Drum, Tony Drum and Trilby Warren.

She is survived by: her daughter Deborah Sherrill Cashion (Jerry) of Hickory; her brothers-in-law, Hal Sherrill, George Sherrill and Max Sherrill; her grandchildren, Dr. Adrienne Cashion Bautista (Erwin) of Woodland, CA, Trey Abernathy (Marie) of Ottawa, Thomas Chambers (Shana) of Hiddenite, Melissa Steelmon (Joshua) of Newton, Benjamin Williamson (Tonya) of Boulder, CO and Stephen Williamson (Tina) of Hickory; her great grandchildren, Sidney Cashion, Kalie Chambers, Dawson Chambers, Devon Chambers (Harli), Raylen Branton, Alexandra Bautista, Abigail Bautista, Harley Abernathy, Cash Abernathy, Rhiana Graham, Eli Graham, Caroline Tallent, Merrick Williamson and Maverick Steelmon; her great great grandchild Tucker Chambers; and her nieces and nephews, Dexter Warren, Shelton Drum, Grey Drum, Zane Drum, Rain Drum, Kenny Sherrill, Jonathon Sherrill, Eric Sherrill, Stephen Sherrill, David Sherrill, Carol Drum, Criss Ervin, Michaele Autry, Vanessa Jones and Tracy Stotts.
