Gladys Mae Ezzell Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gladys Mae Ezzell of Newton, North Carolina, who passed away on August 2, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Franklin and Sadie Mae Hale Dixon; and her husband Oscar "Buddy" Ezzell. She is survived by: her children, Joseph Ezzell (Penny) of Damascus, VA, Margaret Christopher of Burlington, NC and Trudy Kay Jolly of Newton, NC; and her brothers, Lawrence Dixon (JoAnn) and James Dixon. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
