He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Preston Lackey Sr. and Mary Helen England Lackey of Newton; his brother Burrett Bill Lackey; and his brother-in-law Harold Connelly. He is survived by: his children, Sebreda Renee Lackey of Hickory, Latisha Gail Lackey of Hickory, Franklin Jevon Lackey of Newton, George Franklin Peagram of Taylorsville, Stephen Mackey of Philadelphia, PA, Tray McClough of Catawba, Diamond Miles of Conover and Mandie Blackburn of Hickory; and his siblings, Robert Preston Lackey Jr. (Jacqueline) of Conover, Helen Lackey Connelly of Conover and Edith Gail Lackey (David McCorkle) of Newton. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends.
