He was predeceased by: his parents, George Edward Deal, Sr. and Garnette Parker Deal. He is survived by: his daughters, Shelley Hayes (David) of Conover, NC and Susan Wright (Paul); his sister Faye Deal Banks of Cary, NC; and his grandchildren, Abbey, Jessica, Addison and Sophie Hayes.
