It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Vandenburg (Newton, North Carolina), born in Hickory, North Carolina, who passed away on December 14, 2022, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Dorothy Marie Whitener Vandenburg; and his brother Donnie Lee. He is survived by: his father Tony Ray Vandenburg; and his aunts and uncles, Danny Whitener (Pam), Paul Whitener, Julia Hefner (Donald), Rolaine Vandenburg and Amy Buff (Roger).
