It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Garland Leroy Huffman (Newton, North Carolina), born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on November 24, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyden Baxter Huffman and Ossie Ethel Dellinger Huffman; his wife Hazel Marie Sipe Huffman; his sisters, Helen Huffman, Catherine Huffman Dellinger and Ann Huffman Lawrence; and his grandson Michael Huffman.

He is survived by: his children, Ronnie Garland Huffman (Soundra) of Newton and Vickie Barrineau (Bill) of Charlotte; his siblings, Hubert "Hub" Huffman (Jackie Newton) and Bert Huffman Sigmon (Jim) of Maiden; his grandchildren, Chris Huffman (Rosa) of Newton, Roseanna Huffman of Newton and Amanda Bonner of Ft. Mill, SC.; and his great grandchildren, Chloe Huffman, Alexander Huffman and Bella Holland.
