He is survived by: his children, Frederick "Rick" Ross Jones Jr. (Sharon) of Moravian Falls, NC, Russell Jones (Christy) of Charlotte and Robin Jones of Charlotte; his brother Richard Jones of Belton, SC; and his grandchildren, Trevor Horne (Cynthia) of Charlotte, Lacie Jones (Max Schmidt) of Asheville and Mason Jones of Charlotte.
