He is survived by: his wife Beunice "Bootsie" Rice Roberts; his children, Joan Makerson (Anthony) of Cornelius, NC, Shanae C. Roberts of Newton and Bernard A. Coulter (Terrill) of Conover, N. C.; his grandsons, Anthony Makerson Jr. (AJ), Gabriel Davis, Xavion Coulter and Amari Coulter; his pet Sushee; his siblings, R. B. Roberts (Marry Ann) of Lincolnton, N. C., Lucille Clemons of Maiden, N. C. and Shirley Coulter (Albert) of Newton, N. C.; and his former wife Yvonne Robinson Roberts. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, God children, sisters-in-laws and brothers-in-law, many other relatives and friends.
