He was predeceased by: his parents, Roby Long and Alma Starnes Long; his former wife Marliedean Sain Long; and his sister Mary Catherine Long Hassell. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Jarrett Long; his sons, Floyd Jr. (Cynthia Long) of New Jersey and Michael Long (Jennifer) of Hickory; his granddaughters, Jennifer (Matthew Bridgeman), Christina (Andrew Wong) of New Jersey, Mandy (JD Marona) of Connecticut and Sarah Long (Darrell Gibson); and his great grandchild Matthew Bridgeman.
