Elizabeth Yount Lackey Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Yount Lackey (Newton, North Carolina), born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on August 7, 2019, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mother Marie Setzer Yount Settlemyre (Russell); her husband Arthur F. Lackey; her brother Robert Macon Yount (Wilma); her sister-in-law Sara Lackey Bost (Eugene); her nephew John M. Yount; and her cousin John Simmons (Nancy).

She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Robert L. Yount (Ute), Mark Bost (Jeannine), Sara "Sissy" Bost Perry (Darrell) and Elizabeth "Betsy" Bost Matchen (Wayne); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Lee Yount Rogers (Charlie), Leslie Yount Crouse (David), Jule Yount Macholz (Fred), Amy Brooks (Bobby), Meredith Matchen, Justin Bost and Robert M. Yount, II; and also Karey "Gussy" Warren (Dexter).
