He was predeceased by: his parents, William Arthur and Willie Velma Sorrels Shuford; and his brother Charles William Shuford. He is survived by: his wife Kay Shuford; his daughters, Dorothy Spencer (Lance) and Annette Shuford (Tim Setzer); his grandchildren, Chelsea Perkins, Christy McHugh and Adam Elliott; his great grandchildren, Nathanyel Perkins, Lucas McHugh, Phoebe Elliott and Payton Elliott; and his sister Dorothy Shuford Adams.
