With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edith Phillips of Newton, North Carolina, who passed away on August 31, 2022 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raleigh Phillips and Lida Miller Phillips; her siblings, Hazel Phillips, Esther Bryant, Dean and Franklin Phillips; and her sisters-in-law, Faye Phillips and Irene Phillips.
She is survived by: her siblings, Linda Bryant (Jeff) of Erwin, TN, Pat Allmon (Kenneth) of Hickory, Annie Allen (Ben) of Spruce Pine, Ellis Phillips of Burnsville and Glen Phillips (Louise) of Hickory; and her brother-in-law Oakland Bryant of Burnsville. She is also survived by thirteen nieces and nephews, twenty one great-nieces and nephews, and eleven great, great-nieces and nephews.
