It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dwight Eugene Wilson Sr. of Newton, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on August 1, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lafe M. Wilson and Ruth R. Wilson; his wife Pamela M. Wilson; and his son-in-law David Shugart. He is survived by: his children, Dwight Wilson, Jr. (Dawn) and Cindy Shugart; and his granddaughter Maggie Marie Shugart.
