She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Franklin Shrum and Annie Evelyn Player Shrum; her former husband Jimmie Reinhardt; her husband Clifford R. Young; her siblings, Frank Shrum and Faye Shrum Hines; and her brother-in-law Bill Hines.
She is survived by: her siblings, Barbara S. Huffstetler (Dwight "Whity") of Claremont, NC, Ray Shrum (Billie) of Newton, NC and Ralph "Pete" Shrum (Rubie) of Newton, NC; her stepson Clifford S. Young (Janice) of Newton, NC; and her children, Patsy B. Hallman and Jerry Bolick. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
