She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace Ross and Annie Hovis Ross; and her sisters, Phyllis Cloer of Florida and Audrey Ramsey of Crouse. She is survived by: her husband Billy B. Beard; her children, Joel Beard (Pam) of Maiden, Philip Beard (Robin) of Maiden and Martha Brown (Bill) of Conover; her grandchildren, Dr. Blair Jordon Brown (Jennifer), Dr. Daniel Ross Brown, Andrew Philip Beard, Jordan Taylor Beard and Allison Elizabeth Beard; and her great grandchildren, Gannon Brown and Decker Brown Numerous.
