She is survived by: her mother Ruth Kaylor Mingus; her husband Clyde Watters; her daughters, Mary Ann Mitchem (Charlie) of Claremont and Rose Bass; her sister Patricia Smith (Marvin) of Claremont; her grandchildren, Maria Penley (Marty Wilmoth) of Elkin and Jason Mitchem of Conover; and her great grandchildren, Christopher Bass (Josie) and Josh Penley (Kara).
