She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold E. Reitzel and Mary Kathleen Cooke Reitzel; and her son Matthew Reitzel. She is survived by: her sister Sharon Kay Smyre of Hickory; her nephews, Michael Smyre (Pamela) of Claremont and Steven Smyre (Loren) of Claremont; her niece Tiffany Smyre (Billy Weaver) of Conover; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Trysta Smyre, Devyion Smyre, Ryan Smyre, Michael Smyre Jr., Joben Smyre, Aria Smyre, Landen Moore, Rhyanne Moore, Daniel Smyre, Grayson Weaver, Tinsley Weaver and Karisma Weaver.
