She is survived by: her parents, Jerry Lee Sims (Ada) of Longview and Elizabeth Brown (Jackie) of Hickory; and her sons, Joshua Sims (Alexis) of Bethlehem and Samuel Richard, Jr. of Hickory. She is also survived by her family and friends.
