She was predeceased by: her parents, Alonzo Ray and Ula McLouth Ray; her husband Samuel F. Raymer; and her siblings, Wilma Roffey, Violet Apple, Lee Ray, John Ray and Alonzo Ray, Jr..

She is survived by: her daughters, Pamela D. Koschnitzke (Karl) of Sherrills Ford, NC and Rhonda Cutter of Conover, NC; her grandchildren, Karl Koschnitzke, IV, Kurt Koschnitzke and Heidi Cristialdi; and her great grandchildren, Max, Mara, Lynn, Bella, Lillian and Mia. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
