It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donna Coleen Thompson of Newton, North Carolina, who passed away on December 22, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Dye and Maxine Rose Raspi Dye; her children, Wendy Reid and Donny Reid; and her siblings, Sharon Simmons, Terry Dye and Chris Dye.
She is survived by: her husband Carl Franklin Thompson; her children, Randy Reid, Ronny Reid, Larry Reid, Jr. and Kayla Reid; her grandchildren, Brookelle Reid, Larry Reid, III and Jaxon Reid; and her siblings, Richard Dye, Michael Dye, Lois Archie, Mary Ann Talbert and Patsy Bechter. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Carolina Caring in Donna's name.
