He was predeceased by: his wife Maggie Ricker; and his parent Mary Ricker McCarter of Newton. He is survived by: his son Michael Steven Ricker; and his siblings, Larry R. Brown Jr. of Fayetteville, Tammy Smith (David) of Lincolnton, Karen Baker (Josh) of Belmont, Laurie Bradshaw (Randy) of Hickory and Mary Dawn Drum (Kenny) of DenverA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
