He was predeceased by: his father Ambrose Claudie Hoyle; his wife Jane Sutton Hoyle; and his siblings, Billy Gene Hoyle, Douvhn Harold "Pete" Hoyle, Glenn Ambrose Hoyle, Willie Norene, Betty Sue Robinson, Verna Ruth Black, Sylvia Wayne Scronce, Carolyn Lee Burns and Mamie Gail Scronce.

He is survived by: his son Danny H. Hoyle, Jr. (Stephanie) of Conover; the mother of his child Lucille Dugger of Hickory; and his grandchildren, Brandon Hoyle, Scarlett Hoyle and Roxie Edwards.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
