He was predeceased by: his parent Naleh Lee. He is survived by: his wife Nava Chala; and his daughters, Rudi Chamu, Nada Reinbold, Nasaw Chang and Naleh Chamu.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Catawba Funeral Home (3060 US Hwy 70 SE, Hickory, NC 28602). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Catawba Memorial Park (3010 US-70, Newton, NC 28658).

In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to CR Mission Fund in Daniel's name.
