He is survived by: his children, Curtis Cunningham II of Hickory and Tabetha Cunningham of Newton; his siblings, Lloyd Cunningham of Hickory, Jerry Cunningham of Hickory, Mamie Cunningham and Stephanie Hopper (Anthony Hopper); his grandson Benjamin Ferguson of Newton; his sisters, Alyssa Cunningham (Brandon Akinbiyi) of Miami, FL and D'Anthoni Johnson of Winston-Salem; his great grandchildren, Madison Akinbiyi, Lauryn Akinbiyi and D'Anthoni Johnson, Jr.; his close friend Sebastian; and his pet Shih Tzu. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
