He is survived by: his parents, Francis Lee Smith and Pauline Cara Smith; his fiancé Sandy Propst; his daughter April Anderson of Hickory; his siblings, Paulett Pearson (Robert) of Newton and Kenneth Smith (Melissa) of Jacksonville, FL; and his grandchildren, Jacob Chase and Emily Chase. He is also survived by three nephews and two nieces.
