She was predeceased by: her parents, Ulysses Burette Stafford and Beulah Bowman Stafford; her husband Rayford Deaton Fox; and her siblings, Howard Stafford and Maxine Mays.

She is survived by: her sons, Leon Deaton Fox (Linda) of Statesville and Lynn Allen Fox (Connie) of Taylorsville; her grandsons, Lee Fox (Tamara) of Huntsville, AL and Michael Fox of Matthews; and her sister Mabel Bowman.

Due to the COVID-19 virus the funeral service will be limited to family members only.
