He was predeceased by: his parent Arney Shuford Wyant; his wife Mary Jane Rhoney Wyant; and his siblings, Arney Wyant of Bernice Wyant, Kate Wyant Peeler, Farris Wyant and Gladys "Dot" Wyant Ellis.

He is survived by: his parent Edith Mae Goodnight Wyant; his sons, Gregory Wyant, Michael Wyant and Jeffrey Wyant (Lisa); his siblings, Joe Wyant (Scottie), Don Wyant (Dottie), John Wyant (Elaine), Ann Young, Sarah Parrish, Texie Richardson (Jerry) and Ida Williams; his grandchildren, Andrew Wyant, Jonathan Wyant, Joshua Wyant and Charlotte Wyant; and his great grandchild Rhylee Wyant.
