He was predeceased by: his parents, James Boyd Leatherman and Georgia Reinhardt Leatherman. He is survived by: his wife Janice Parrish Leatherman of Newton, NC; his children, Sandy Lynn Leatherman of Pittsboro, NC and Todd Alan Leatherman (Jill Smith Leatherman); his grandchildren, Jaden Rebecca Leatherman and Janson Robert Pope of Blowing Rock, NC.; and his sister Joyce Leatherman.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Plateau United Methodist Church, 3315 Scronce Rd, Vale, NC 28168.
