She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Jaeger and Elsie Borkenhagen Jaeger; and her brother Robert "Bob" Jaeger. She is survived by: her husband Ervin Preston; her children, Lee Preston (Lorna) of Raleigh and Debra Miller (Karl) of Newton; her sister Shirley Jaeger of Raleigh; and her grandchildren, Taylor Miller, Aaron Preston, Amber Miller and Tyler Preston.
