She is survived by: her husband Jeremy Douglas Matthews; her children, Hayden Matthews and Libby Matthews; her siblings, Ryan Hahn of Conover and Mickie Drum of Newton; her uncle Jamey Hahn of Newton; her nephew Blake Matthews of Claremont; and her niece Rachel Matthews (Mira Edwards) of Claremont.

Memorials may be made to Providence Road Baptist Church "HOPE" Project Fund, 3283 Providence Mill Road, Maiden, NC 28650.
