It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bruce Pattengale of Newton, North Carolina, who passed away on November 7, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Armen Pattengale (Pat) and Josephine Pattengale; and his brother Fred Pattengale. He is survived by: his wife Eleanor A. Pattengale (Ellie); his children, Jeff Grootemaat, Christine Schmidt (Timothy) and Bonnie Eury (Ronald); his sisters, Doris Schurrer, Barbara Boulieu and Multiple; and his grandchildren, Lisa Grootemaat, Dennis Schmidt (Laura), Lori Mulsoff (Dave), Amy Schmidt (Joey), Bryan Schmidt (Amanda), Brandon Froehlich (Molly), Brittny Locklear (Earl), Ronald Eury and Lianna Eury. He is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
