It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Jeanette Lewis of Newton, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on May 18, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Obid Weir and Grace Whitener Jarrett; and her siblings, O. W. Jarrett, Luther Jarrett and Mary Bell Huffman.

She is survived by: her sister Rebecca Melton (Jim); and her son Gary Lewis (Sandy). She is also survived by 2 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flower, memorials may be made to Camp Linn Haven.
