He is survived by: his daughters, Patty Bumgarner (Wayne) of Newton, Wanda Roberts (Robert) of Brookford and Ella Petty (Scott) of Taylorsville; and his sisters, Sarah Holloway of Hickory and Nettie Forbes of Burke County. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren.
