He is survived by: his parents, Dewey Ray Welch and Elaine Frances Shook Welch of Conover; his wife Jami Harrill Welch; his children, Emily Lauren Welch of Newton and Kyle Zane Welch (Rachel) of Newton; his brothers, Dewey Welch, Jr. (Tammy) of Newton and Matt Welch of Claremont; and his grandchildren, Zander, Josiah and Atlee. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
