He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruce Guffey and Brenda Hager Hockenberry. He is survived by: his wife Tammy Waters Guffey; and his children, Wendy Mattson (Corey), Matt Taylor (Angel), Cara Ray (Bobby) and Nathan Taylor. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren.
