It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Mac Smyre of Newton, North Carolina, who passed away on March 7, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Billy Mac Smyre to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his wife Pat of Timothy's Lutheran Church; his parents-in-law, Cecil and Louetta Huffman; and his pet Pepper. He is survived by: his children, Jeff and Lynette Smyre Roll; his son-in-law Ken Roll of Newton; and his sister Lee Smyre of Greer, S. C.. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
