She was predeceased by: her parents, William Robert TIbbs and Callie Greer Tibbs; her husband JD Goforth; her siblings, Roger Tibbs, Raymond Tibbs, Charles Tibbs and Martha Belle Tibbs; her sister-in-law Shirley Tibbs; and her grandson Chase Michael Hastings.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carolyn Matthews (Barry) of Conover, Vicki Hastings (Eddie) of Claremont and Crystal Caldwell (Kent) of Sanford; her sisters-in-law, Ruby Tibbs of Newton and Phyllis Goforth of Catawba; and her grandchildren, Kyndall Danner (Zach), Cody Hastings (Nichole) and Rusty Hastings.
