She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Glenn Bowman and Ethel Honeycutt Bowman; her son Jack V Mull Jr. (Jackie); her brother Don Bowman; and her boyfriend Hal Austin.

She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Ferber of Conover, Patti Townsend (Clyde) of Hickory and Teresa Davis (Rev. Dr. J. Eric Davis) of Boiling Springs; her brother Grady Bowman of Hickory; her grandchildren, Kristy Harrell (Richard), Jennifer Bolick (Gary), Terri Fulbright (Brian), Holly Zayac (Justin), April Eckard, Amanda Townsend, Alex Davis (Amberlee) and Tyler Davis (Stephanie); and her great grandchildren, Madison Harrell, Makenna Harrell, Caleb Bolick, Carter Bolick, Ferber Fulbright, Anderson Davis, Eli Davis, Jeremiah Davis, Ethan Settlemyre and Avery Settlemyre.
