He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Curtis Dillingham and Ossie Beatrice Harvey Dillingham; his wife Patricia Elaine Dillingham; his grandson Aaron Dillingham; and his brothers, Don Dillingham, Jerry Dillingham and Dennis Dillingham.

He is survived by: his sons, Jeff Dillingham (Tracy) of Greer, SC, Pastor Jason Dillingham (Deborah) of Maiden, NC and Amol Parage (Omana) of Chandrapur, India; his siblings, Jack Dillingham (Linda) of Morganton, NC and Frances D. McNeely of Marion, NC; his grandchildren, Kyle Dillingham, Tobi Hart, Joshua Dillingham, Isaac Dillingham, Jacob Dillingham, Rachel Dillingham, Jeremy Parage and Jonathan Parage; and his great grandchildren, Addi, Kadence, Kealen, Jasper, Kyler and Liam.
