It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Anthony Ryder of Newton, North Carolina, born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on May 29, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hoyle David Ryder and Violet Reid Ryder; his daughter Christina Michelle Ryder; and his brother Jimmy Dean Ryder. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Causby Ryder; his children, David Ryder (Susan), Greg Ryder (Jessica) and Amanda Niehaus (Christopher); his grandchildren, Adam Ryder, Cody Myers, Summer Ryder, Dalton Ryder, Chris Ryder, Malachi Ryder, Lily Niehaus and Logan Niehaus; his great grandchildren, Sarah Higgs, Dakota Myers and Mason Myers; and his siblings, Becky Bates, Mary Starnes, Rene Laws, Penny Church, Sandy Ryder, Ginger Lucke and Ricky Ryder. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
