She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Cochrane and Effie Cochrane; her husband John Kenneth Hunsucker (Ken); and her sister Aleta Cochrane Henderson. She is survived by: her children, Karen Lambka (Tim) of Spartanburg, SC and Russell Hunsucker of Newton, NC; and her sister Barbara Cochrane Hester of Elkin, NC.. She is also survived by three grandchildren, six great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church in Newton or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
